Face Painting FAQ
How much do your services cost and how do I pay?
The price depends on the number of hours booked and the travel distance. Payment can be made after the event, either in cash or via Zelle.
How do I book a date and what if I need to cancel?
It's best to book 3-4 weeks in advance. If you need to cancel, please let me know as early as possible so we can reschedule or find another solution.
How long does one design take, and how many kids can you paint in an hour?
On average, designs take 3-7 minutes per child. This typically allows for around 8-12 children per hour, depending on design complexity.
At what age can children have face painting?
I recommend face painting for children aged 3 and up. Younger children often feel uncomfortable and may not sit still.
Can adults get face painting too?
Yes! Face painting is available for adults as well. It's a fun option for parties, festivals, and themed events.
Are the paints safe?
Yes. I use certified professional, water-based paints that are formulated for use on skin.
Is it safe for children with sensitive skin or allergies?
The paints are hypoallergenic, but if a child has a severe allergy or a history of reactions, it's best to avoid painting or consult a doctor first. Please let me know about any known allergies before the event.
How should the paint be removed after the event?
Remove paint gently with warm water and mild soap or a baby wash. Avoid leaving paint on overnight.
What do I need to prepare for your work?
Please provide a table, two chairs, good lighting, and access to water. I bring all paints, brushes, sponges, and sanitation supplies.
Do you travel outside the city?
Yes. I do travel outside the city; additional travel fees may apply and will be confirmed during booking.
Pet Portrait FAQ
How much does a portrait cost and how do I pay?
Price depends on size, technique, number of subjects (people or pets), and framing. A 30% deposit is required before work begins, and the balance is paid upon completion.
What kind of photos do you need for a portrait?
High-quality, well-lit, in-focus photos are best. Providing several angles helps me capture likeness and personality more accurately.
In what style do you paint?
I work in both realistic and stylized approaches; we'll choose the style that best fits your vision.
Can you draw several people or pets together?
Yes. I can combine images from different photos into a single composition so multiple subjects appear together.
What materials do you use?
I work with paper and canvas and use mediums such as watercolor, acrylic, pencils, and graphite, depending on the chosen style.
What formats or sizes are available?
Sizes and formats are discussed individually. We'll recommend options that best suit your space and budget.
How long does the work take?
Turnaround time is typically 2-3 weeks, depending on size and complexity. Rush orders may be available for an additional fee.
Can I order framing?
Yes. Framing options are available and we can choose color and style together. For large portraits, I recommend acrylic glazing for a lighter, safer option.
Can I order a portrait as a gift?
Absolutely. I offer optional framing or gift wrapping to make your portrait gift-ready.
Can I request corrections during the process?
Yes. Small changes can be discussed and accommodated during the creation process. Significant changes may affect timeline and cost.
Do you offer delivery?
Yes. Artwork is shipped at the customer’s expense, and the client may choose the delivery service. For safety and lower cost, we recommend shipping in a protective tube. Framed works can also be shipped, but since they contain glass, we cannot take responsibility for possible damage during transit.
